Her Journey
Dr. Deepa received her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in India, completed her Internal Medicine residency in the United States, and earned her Allergy & Immunology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine.
Her turning point came after years at prestigious institutions—including Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where she received the 2020 Physician Excellence Award. She kept seeing the same pattern: patients following treatment plans perfectly but still struggling because no one was addressing the lifestyle factors working against their healing.
That's when she made a bold choice. She pursued board certification in Lifestyle Medicine, fundamentally changing how she practices. Today, as the founder and CEO of Transformational Life Consulting, she offers what most allergists don't: comprehensive care that treats the whole person, not just the symptoms.
She splits her time between the United States and the UAE, where her family resides. Outside of medicine, she serves her church community as a keyboardist, runs marathons, and volunteers with organizations rescuing trafficking survivors and supporting marginalized women.
